29th March 2011:
A message from Tony Cheetham - Chairman of Columbus Fellowship, following news of Ken Owen's imminent retirement and the likely sale of Llyndy Isaf Farm (links to BBC News Website - view our privacy policy)

"Columbus Fellowship would like to wish Ken and Mem all the best for their retirement, and we thank them for their support over the years.

Columbus Fellowship camps will be as normal this summer.

We hope to be able to work with the National Trust in the future, but are realistic that access and land use may become more tightly regulated and that future activities will reflect the new environment. Watch this space.
